Through the use of social media players upload content to the GOT GAME recruiting site. Qualified players are identified and invited to particulate in one of three US City Tryouts.
Regional tryouts are held in three cities, currently we are considering Miami, DC and Oakland, however Chicago and others are also on the list.
In each city the prospects assemble at a basketball arena for 3 days of drills, testing, games and high-performance selection by America’s Got Game Scouts & Coaches, former Star NBA and WNBA Players, professional legends and icons of the game, now in the role of coaches and mentors the recruits
On day 1, 50 lucky lottery winners are given a shot to show their stuff as they are put through a series of strength, speed and agility tests, basketball skills, drills and team play. Up to 4 or 5 open call players will be asked back to day 2.
On day 2, a select 25 players recruited from video submissions and the returning open call players are further evaluated as coaches review individual skills, team play, court presence, ball handling, shooting, speed and agility selecting 16 to return on day 3.
On day 3, assessments continue for the remaining 16 as the coaches select the city finalists.
The 3 city Tryouts make up the first one and a half Episodes of the 10 episode arc; we see the players in each city evaluated and coached make their selections; coverage from across America is edited to highlight the talent and drive of the contestants and reveal the premiere Coaching Staff.
32 city finalists are selected and invited to the Got Game Training Camp in Lexington KY. Here the players have the opportunity to grow and prove themselves to the coaches and audience.
The Bootcamp/Hoop Camp location is a reality TV facility, fully wired for audio and video, a completely self-contained basketball training camp; located on a campus or in an airplane hangar, industrial or military complex.
Players live, eat and train together in this environment for 4 weeks of intensive basketball instruction, life coaching, nutrition, strength training, team and individual growth all under the ever-present cameras and watchful eyes of the producers, coaches and of course the fans.
Sports and Entertainment Celebrities will drop into visit and encourage the players.
Friendships and rivalries will evolve, viewers will root for their favorites and participate in the elimination process.
Throughout the training and game play are competitive opportunities for the players to win cash and prizes, that creates completion between players, greed, loss and jealousy, while they also seek the support of fans and respect of their teammates and the coaches.
The last three episodes consist of live games, the first, full length game, is edited for time and played at the training camp facility, with the players families in attendance. These games reveal the players teamwork, combinations, emotions and development in game setting. Throughout the games the coaches reorganize the players, switching up the combinations looking for the All Stars to rise to the top
The Las Vegas "Sweet-16" complete with all the Vegas fanfare, puts the 16 finalists on their biggest stage yet. Built on the celebrated Las Vegas Strip, a flashy VIP LIVE Televised Game with fantasy and sports book, elevating the teams and players to national status in an all-out final bid to make the 8-man GOT GAME All-Star Roster.
Foreshadowing from courtside reveals the All-Pro All-Star team, (THE HIT SQUAD) and staff that has been assembled to be the final test for the hopeful America's GOT CAME All-Star Team.
The Finale "ALL STAR" Game pits the top 8 GOT GAME All-Star competitors against the All-Pro All-Star team, THE HIT SQUAD, (our team assembled from recent NBA Star Players) for a head to head LIVE Televised Game.
Its all on the line: GOT GAME Glory and The GOT GAME MVP AWARD
As the game unfolds the viewers, coaches and basketball royalty vote for the GOT GAME MVP player.
The MVP winner receives the coveted NBA Team tryout.
The player voted MVP will be given a NBA Team Tryout and has the opportunity for a Basketball Career.
Who's story will be told?
The producers of GOT GAME seek Equity Partners for the Final Development, Production and International Franchising.
